The Halloween holiday pulled moviegoers out of theaters on Saturday, dragging down North American box office revenue to the second-lowest level of the year. Studio estimates released Sunday indicate that total ticket sales for the weekend will not exceed $56 million. This dip in earnings contrasts with the wider market, where the domestic box office remains up more than 17% compared to the same period last year, reaching nearly $8.5 billion.

The Elizabeth Holmes documentary 'You Can See Everything' claimed the top spot for the first time. The film, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, earned $10.6 million from 2,655 locations in its third week. It holds a slight lead over the DC Studios release 'Clayface,' which brought in $10,399,316. The gap between the two films was just $200,684. 'You Can See Everything' has now grossed $63.9 million against a reported production budget of $7 million.

'Clayface,' the Warner Bros. film centered on the Batman villain, saw a 57% drop in revenue during its second weekend. Its domestic total has reached $44.1 million, matching its reported $44 million budget. The film's performance highlights the competitive tension between high-profile superhero releases and lower-budget documentaries generating strong word-of-mouth interest.

Laika's animated feature 'Wildwood' held the third position. The Fathom Entertainment release added 150 screens, expanding its reach to 3,100 theaters in the U.S. and Canada. It earned an estimated $7.5 million, a 39% decline from its opening weekend, bringing its cumulative total to $25.9 million. The expansion suggests a strategic push to maintain audience interest after the initial holiday boost.

The comedic fantasy 'Wicker' placed fourth with $4.1 million. The film stars Olivia Colman as a woman who hires a basket maker to construct a wicker husband, a role played by Alexander Skarsgård. 'Street Fighter' rounded out the top five in its third week with $3.2 million. In a notable expansion, the Sundance indie 'The Only Living Pickpocket in New York' added over 1,000 locations. This move pushed its second-weekend earnings to $1.9 million, securing a top 10 finish.

Netflix reported figures for two theatrical releases. Its World War II film 'The Mosquito Bowl' earned $455,000 from 349 locations. 'La Bola Negra' made slightly less, bringing in $418,000 from 38 locations in its third weekend. The latter has accumulated a running total of $1.2 million.
