Foldable iPhone Arrives With $69 Stylus and Charger Held Back Until iOS 27.2

Apple's first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, reached shelves on Oct. 23, and the device arrives with a set of accessories that carry their own prices and, in one case, a delay. The 9to5Mac site published a list of five items it suggests for early owners, ranging from a stylus to home security cameras, with some discounts noted along the way.
The Pencil is the item that cannot be bought into yet. Apple has said the iPhone Duo supports writing and sketching on both its outer and inner screens, and that the screen proportions follow a standard A-series paper notebook. That support ships next week through the iOS 27.2 update, and only the Apple Pencil (USB-C) will work with it. The pencil sells for $69, marked down from $79.
Charging speed depends on the plug. Apple says the Duo reaches 50 percent in about 20 minutes, but the box carries a USB-C cable and no adapter. 9to5Mac points readers to Apple's 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max at $34, down from $39, or Anker's 100W USB-C charger with a five-foot cable at $29.
The site also suggests ESR's MagSafe Car Mount for drivers, a vent clip that holds the phone magnetically at $19, down from $29. Its writer pairs an iPhone with CarPlay so the map shows on the car screen while the phone keeps step-by-step directions in Apple Maps, and expects that setup to work better on the Duo's larger display.
Case options run from $29 to $129. Third-party choices include the SPIDERCASE Magnetic Case, which has a stand and screen protector at $29, and the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Pro, a clear MagSafe-compatible case at $39. Apple sells the iPhone Duo Folio with Kickstand at $129 and the iPhone Duo Case at $79.
StandBy mode on the Duo can show views while the phone stands upright without charging, and two of those, Home Camera and Home Modular, reach smart home accessories. For camera viewing, the site names the Aqara G100 2K camera at $39 and a eufy 4K camera at $69, both HomeKit-compatible. Its final suggestion is AirPods Pro 3, on sale at Amazon for $199, down from $249.
