Olivia Rodrigo released her first holiday single, “take me home (4 christmas),” on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
The release includes a new music video starring Rodrigo, Cynthia Nixon, and Saturday Night Live cast member Ben Marshall.
Rodrigo announced the project on Instagram, inviting fans to preorder the digital track immediately.
Physical copies are available through her website and at Target stores. An exclusive 7-inch vinyl and cassette are listed on her site, while the vinyl appears on Target shelves starting Friday.
The song was written by Rodrigo alongside frequent collaborators Dan Nigro and Amy Allen. Nigro also produced the track.
This release follows a remix of “expectations” featuring Chappell Roan. That collaboration became the highest peaking all-female project on the Billboard Hot 100 this year. It also pushed the album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love back to number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
Rodrigo is currently performing on The Unraveled Tour. The tour has sold more than 1 million tickets worldwide and has set several venue attendance records.
