Nicholas Jerome Wennik, 33, of Womelsdorf, remains in Lebanon County Prison after failing to post $40,000 in bail. Court documents indicate his confinement began on Sunday, Nov. 1, following a bail hearing.
The case stems from an investigation by the Lebanon County Regional Police Department into a Taco Bell at 2100 W. Cumberland Street in North Cornwall Township. Officers responded to a harassment complaint on Friday, Aug. 28. Investigators found Wennik had harassed staff on multiple occasions.
Police determined Wennik threw a soft drink on the manager during one incident. They also found he sent a sexually explicit image to a juvenile employee. These actions led to three third-degree felony charges: unlawful contact with a minor, dissemination of explicit sexual materials to a minor, and criminal use of a communication facility.
The docket also lists two third-degree misdemeanor harassment counts for lewd and repeated communication. Additionally, he faces two summary harassment counts for physical contact. Magisterial District Judge John W. Ditzler filed the criminal complaint on Thursday, Oct. 22.
A preliminary hearing for the Taco Bell case is set for 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12. Wennik also has two other pending cases. In Millcreek Township, he faces a false identification charge from a Sept. 28 incident, with a hearing scheduled for 8 a.m. on Nov. 12.
In Towamencin Township, Montgomery County, he faces defiant trespass and public drunkenness charges from an Aug. 13 incident. That hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16. All three cases were pending as of Monday, Nov. 2.
