Eighteen Greenwich Public Schools employees received the November 2026 Difference Maker award. Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones revealed the list of honorees on Monday, November 2, 2026. The group represents every school and district department within the system.
The district presents this recognition monthly to full-time and part-time staff. Jones described the recipients as unsung heroes who have made an overwhelming impact on others. The award recognizes unique commitment and humanitarian spirit. Contributions may stem from a single life-changing event, long-lasting efforts, or daily service to the community.
Principals and district senior leadership officially nominate the candidates. The selection process identifies staff members who have provided exceptional contributions inside and outside of classrooms. The district encourages the public to review the full history of the program on its website.
