Israeli forces demolished two homes in the West Bank village of Beita on Wednesday. The military stated that the properties belonged to Zakariya Muhammad Abd Daoud and Ibrahim Abd al-Karim Abd Daoud. Israel describes both men as terrorists who carried out three attacks using explosive devices between 2024 and 2025. Soldiers were wounded in two of those incidents.
The demolitions occurred during a wider operation spanning several West Bank villages and the city of Nablus. During these raids, soldiers from the Duvdevan Unit arrested a man accused of trafficking explosives and weapons. He allegedly worked to transfer those items to militants. Forces also detained a wanted individual suspected of manufacturing weapons and explosives, trafficking arms, and planning attacks.
In a separate announcement on Wednesday, the military reported pulling down 12 structures it described as terrorist monuments in the West Bank. This action was part of a continuing campaign to remove such sites. Troops searched approximately 300 locations during the operation. They arrested eight wanted people and seized various weapons, including a hunting rifle, a handgun, and ammunition.
The military said its soldiers are continuing counterterrorism efforts in the Judea region. These efforts follow an attack near Hebron on Friday that killed two Israeli soldiers. In the Hebron area, forces confiscated an M16 rifle, knives, a vest, and a replica gun. They arrested six suspects, one of whom has ties to Hamas. The military stated the suspects were allegedly involved in terrorist activity, including planning and facilitating attacks.
