Metallica has three remaining performance dates at the Sphere in Las Vegas in 2026, creating a final window for fans to attend the residency before the group takes the stage again in January 2027. The concerts are scheduled for October 31, November 5, and November 7, with all shows starting at 8:30 p.m.

The band launched its "Life Burns Faster" residency at the 18,000-seat venue in October 2026. The initial performances took place on October 1 and October 3. Set List FM data from these early shows indicates that the band plays 16 songs per night, rotating the setlist between Thursday and Saturday performances.

Ticket prices for the remaining 2026 dates are currently listed on resale platform Vivid Seats. As of October 30, the lowest available price for a single seat, including fees, is $341. A "No Repeat Weekend" pass, which grants entry to both the November 5 and November 7 concerts, starts at $902 including fees.

Based on previous setlists, Thursday shows typically include tracks such as "Master of Puppets," "Seek & Destroy," "Sad But True," "Ride the Lightning," and "Nothing Else Matters." Saturday shows generally feature "Enter Sandman," "For Whom The Bell Tolls," "The Unforgiven," "Fuel," and "One."

The residency utilizes the Sphere's wraparound video screens and 360-degree sound system. Rock Sound magazine described the visual experience as a "visual onslaught" that prepares even seasoned fans for the intensity of the performance. The publication specifically noted the immersive nature of the "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and "One" sequence, which features black and white war imagery and collapsing clock towers.

James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo will perform these final three dates before the residency pauses. The group is scheduled to return to the Sphere on January 28, 2027. Current schedules list shows through March 13, 2027.

In addition to the Las Vegas residency, Metallica is scheduled to perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, in November. This venue hosts 10,000 seats and will hold the concert to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

The Mohegan Sun performance marks the band's first show in Connecticut since July 1998. At that time, the group headlined at Hartford's Meadows Music Theater as part of their "Poor Re-Touring Me Tour." The upcoming November date will be the first time the band has played the specific arena.

The band released its 11th studio album, "72 Seasons," on April 14, 2023. The record has a runtime of 77 minutes. The current residency serves as the primary live venue for this material, with tracks like "72 Seasons," "Sleepwalk My Life Away," and "Lux Æterna" appearing in the setlist rotations.
